"You and Me" is a series of diptychs through which I explored the idea of connecting through the act of portraiture. I was interested in translating the bonds I have with family and friends through the physical spaces we shared. I used clothing, gesture, objects, and action to depict roles in relationships. I was interested in the tension created by placing myself within my photographs with the people I was representing.
